Just the thing to compliment any of your outfits in style, this handwoven shawl is made from suri alpaca fibre sourced from our own herd right here on the farm. The fleece is processed locally into a fine yarn which I have left un dyed. throughout the length of the shawl I have added touches of hand dyed merino and hand spun silk. The whole is woven on a merino warp. The merino is grown and processed in NSW.
Alpaca fibre is resilient and this wrap will keep its shape and softness for years.
Should you need to wash it, do so by hand only, squeezing out excess water by folding it in a towel and pressing down. Do not wring. Dry laid out flat and unstretched in a shaded area. Iron with a cool iron, using a clean tea towel to protect the wrap. Not to be tumble dried.
