As each batch of our natural dye process comes out slightly different, and often only enough for 2 or 3 pieces, these scarves are always changing in their colours. Please contact me with your choice of colours and I will happily send you photos of current stock that is not yet online or make your colour choice to order.

Featuring shades of earthy sand with a rich vibrant burnt umber undertone, these unique cowls can be worn with literally everything, everywhere.
They are long, with a twist at the base. Wear it hanging low, or double it for extra warmth around the neck. It pairs perfectly with open necked T shirts, tunics and dresses. You can have the fringe either out on display or turn the scarf over to have the plain edge showing.
All pieces are handwoven by myself, Fiona. I first dye the yarns using the flora of our native bushland. Each dye bath comes out slightly differently, making each cowl unique and individual. It is a completely natural process, using only the leaves, water and heat. Some may pieces may have highlights of coral, fuschia or even indigo, which will be from the residual natural dye of a previous dye bath.
Alpaca fibre is resilient and will keep its shape and softness for years.
Should you need to wash it, do so by hand only, in warm soapy water, agitating as little as possible. Squeeze out excess water by folding it in a towel and pressing down. Do not wring. Dry laid out flat. Not to be tumble dried. Iron with a cool iron, protecting it with a cotton or linen tea towel.
