The Studio
Our weaving studio is the perfect place for mindful moments. A place to escape the daily grind and explore your unique creativity.
We invite you to visit our studio here on our Suri alpaca farm and explore what Ashculme Textiles is all about. Get creative, learn about our process, meet the alpacas, craft something beautiful, share a cuppa, make new friends and discover a new (and ancient) art form.
For those who would like to weave in their own time and at their own pace, the studio is open for independent weaving & loom use.
Please contact us so we can arrange a mutually convenient time
Cost:
- $55 per person; or
- $28 (for those who have previously participated in one of our weaving workshops.)
Depending on loom bookings you are welcome to have sole use of a loom for as long as your project takes to complete.
Materials are not included in the cost but can be purchased by the gram used. There is also a small charge for warp usage.
Our own alpaca yarn is available for purchase.
