Winter Weight Capes

Handwoven in pure Australian Merino, these capes are woven with a slightly heavier yarn for extra cosiness. It has warmth without the restriction of a jacket and pairs perfectly with both jeans and dresses.

Before weaving, I dye the warp threads using the flora of our local environment. Each dye bath comes out slightly differently, making each cape unique and individual. It is a completely natural process, using only leaves, water and heat. Some pieces may have highlights of coral, fuschia or even indigo, which will be from the intentionally left residual natural dye of a previous dye bath.

Please note - as each dye bath is unique, the shading in the photos is indicative only. When the change is dramatic, please be assured a seperate photo will be included .

Gently hand wash in warm water. Do not wring. Can be ironed with a protective cotton tea towel laid over it.
