Lightweight Merino Vest
Handwoven in pure Australian Merino, this vest is light and breezy to wear. It has warmth yet is soft & feather light. It looks equally stylish over a dress as it does with a pair of jeans.
Before weaving, I dye the warp threads using the flora of our local environment. Each dye bath comes out slightly differently, making each piece unique and individual. It is a completely natural process, using only leaves, water and heat. Some pieces may have highlights of coral, fuschia or even indigo, which will be from the intentionally left residual natural dye of a previous dye bath.
Gently hand wash in warm water. Do not wring. Can be ironed with a protective cotton tea towel laid over it.
