Whispers of You Lightweight Ponchos

The hush and calm of the tall gums can almost be felt when you drape this handcrafted piece over your shoulders. Pair with your favourite dress, shirt or tee and take a little piece of Australia with you wherever you go. Featuring alpaca and merino that we have gently dyed with dye producing plants, including leaves from our local bushland. Designed and hand woven at our farm in regional NSW, Australia.  

Ponchos are warm, easy to wear and oh so versatile. Throw it on, and head out the door. Or take an extra moment to line up the joining seam, just forward of your arm and shoulder. For some more elegance, turn it a little, with the seam now down your centre back, roll the neckline over a couple of times, pair with some smart jeans and a long necklace.

Our small herd of suri alpacas live here on our farm and I can watch them grazing contentedly from the window while I weave. Supplementary fibre comes from nearby farms, making our slow fashion products truly sustainable and ethical.

Gently hand wash in warm water. Do not wring. Can be ironed with a protective cotton tea towel laid over it.
